MUSIC

August 11-12 it was again time to visit the Regiment. This time to meet the Royal Horse Guard and the mounted orchestra during the preparation phase.

First Salut had to reacquaint himself with his friends from Kladruby plus a Swedish bay horse.

After that a short warm-up in the surrounding field.

The back in the square where the music was tuning their instruments.

Salut seems totally unprovoked by the music. He had heard it so many times on his CD-player in the stable at Ekensholm!

Lining up for inspection and for more music!

When the Guard then heads for the Royal Palace Salut and his friends return to the paddock and end their day with a shower.

Second lieutenant Marita Linell  and Salut both seem pleased with the exercises of the day!

Salut did surprisingly well all through the day and it now feels much more confident to participate in the demanding ceremony a few weeks later at the Royal Palace.
